We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Quality Manager to join our team at Bretby. In this role, you'll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in chemistry and laboratory operations, along with knowledge of UKAS 17025 accreditation and MCerts standards, is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
• Leading and managing day-to-day quality functions, ensuring the Management System supporting UKAS accreditation 17025 and all applicable MCerts is established, implemented, maintained, and compliant with all clauses
• Audit scheduling and planning, undertaking management system audits and assisting with technical audits within the labs, while leading UKAS, customer, and other external audits
• Managing quality control, customer complaints, and internal NCRs, ensuring all issues raised from audits are resolved in a timely manner in conjunction with appropriate Business Unit representatives
• Convening management reviews and leading monthly Quality meetings with business units, focusing on trends and closing out actions generated from the meetings
